Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up giving access to points on the arms and legs. Attire such as skirts, gym shorts and sleeveless shirts aid in having the most ease of access to a greater number of points on the body. Make sure that you have eaten in the last 4 hours and are well hydrated for your appointment.
Acupuncture is most effective when performed in a series of treatments. Depending on the nature of the individual and severity of the condition being treated, this may be anywhere from 1-3 treatments per week for an initial period of 1-6 months, followed by a maintenance period of weekly, bi-weekly or monthly treatments. Discussion of the appropriate frequency of treatment for your condition is discussed in the first appointment and is an ongoing evaluation depending on the individual's response to treatment.
Please ask your practitioner about package deals for return acupuncture sessions. We offer these packages to help affordability of treatment and to ensure that you are able to get the correct amount of treatment. We do not accept insurance at this time, but can give you an itemized superbill invoice.
